The Subaru WRX ‘Daily Build’

Episode 1 – 2007 Subaru WRX Build – Intro and Shakedown

This is the first video in Epoch Motoring’s Daily Subaru ‘Build.’ We were able to pickup a rust free, single owner 2007 Subaru WRX TR. In this episode, we introduce ourselves and give the car a shakedown.

Episode 2 – 2007 Subaru WRX Build – Wheels, Tires, Mount Balance, Oil Change

This is the second video in Epoch Motoring’s Daily Subaru ‘Build.’ Now that we’ve shaken down the car, let’s dig in. To start, we had to cover the basic maintenance – It needed wheels, tires, a mount and balance, and an oil change!

Episode 3 – 2007 Subaru WRX Build – Brake Pads, Rotors, Adapters and Wheels

This is the third video in Epoch Motoring’s Daily Subaru ‘Build.’ With the wheels and tires ready, it’s time to tackle the brakes. Once the brakes are buttoned up, I’ll toss on the adapters and wheels – then take the car out for a drive!

Episode 4 – 2007 Subaru WRX Build – ST Coilovers Install (Front)

This is the fourth video in Epoch Motoring’s Daily Subaru ‘Build.’ With wheel and tire fitment sorted, we can move onto suspension. I picked up some ST Coilovers, and absolutely loved the fit and finish. Check out the front install!

Episode 5 – 2007 Subaru WRX Build – ST Coilovers Install (Rear)

This is the fifth video in Epoch Motoring’s Daily Subaru ‘Build.’ With the front coilovers installed, we can move onto sorting the rear suspension. ST Builds a quality coilover, and I was really impressed with the ease of installation!

Episode 6 – 2007 Subaru WRX Build – Roll Fenders and Exterior Cleanup

This is the sixth video in Epoch Motoring’s Daily Subaru ‘Build.’ With the coilovers installed, we can start sorting the outside of the car. The rear passenger side of the car is rubbing, so the fender needs rolled. With that, I also need to fix up a few things that came broken when I bought the car.

Episode 7 – 2007 Subaru WRX Build – Exhaust Install

This is the seventh video in Epoch Motoring’s Daily Subaru ‘Build.’ The outside of the car is cleaned up, now it’s time to start with the bolt ons! The exhaust is first up, and I install a used HKS Carbon-Ti catback I picked up from craigslist.

Episode 8 – 2007 Subaru WRX Build – Intake Install and Secondary Air Delete

This is the eighth video in Epoch Motoring’s Daily Subaru ‘Build.’ The exhaust is bolted up, now it’s time to install the intake! While I’m in the bay, I am going to delete the Secondary Air Pump, which has been throwing a CEL since I bought the car!

Episode 9 – 2007 Subaru WRX Build – Final Details

This is the ninth video in Epoch Motoring’s Daily Subaru ‘Build.’ With the car tuned (and no CEL), it’s time to install the finishing touches. New headlights, all weather mats, short shifter, and shift knob!

Episode 10 – 2007 Subaru WRX Build – Finale – Burlington VT Road Trip

This is the tenth and final video in Epoch Motoring’s Daily Subaru ‘Build.’ After getting the daily buttoned up, I take the Daily WRX on a road trip through Vermont. From Benningington up to Burlington, I drove some awesome backroads and tested the handful of modifications! For a daily, the car definitely proved itself – even if I did have a hiccup along the way!
